Welcome to Lůum at the Shore!  A rental & retreat nestled on the tropical oasis that is Anna Maria Island, Lůum at the Shore is more than just a stay—it’s a portal into another world.  

Designed by a Mental Health Therapist & Energy Healer who wanted to build a sanctuary for those looking to travel in a more health-conscious & earth-friendly way.  She infused her intention into every detail of the space, from extensive non-toxic and organic choices made throughout (please check out that list below) to designing each room to hold various healing properties that benefit guests in ways that linger long past their visit.

Inspired by the lush & biophilic beauty of Bali design, our retreat blends natural elements, sustainable design, and a peaceful ambiance to create an other-worldly oasis.  When you limit the “toxic” noise of your environment, you invite a deeper sense of well-being to begin and magical experiences to arise.  Your nervous system settles, time slows down, divine messages drop in, and connection with self & others flows with ease.

In addition to being a haven for the holistic minded individuals & families, we are also a 15-20 minute beach walk or bike ride up to the main hub of restaurants & shops on Pine Ave.  Tucked away from the bustle of the island but central to the provisions that both Anna Maria and Holmes Beach offer.

  • House is fully insulated with plant based nontoxic foam, first of its kind on the market in the USA. (The installer ate it off the wall when installing to demonstrate the nontoxic component) Most foam insulators are filled with toxins, especially formaldehyde which in hot climates keeps off-gassing for years

  • Microtopping eco-conscious products for all walls, flooring and pool to reduce VOC’s produced by paint

  • 15+ Organic fruit producing trees planted throughout the property

  • UV light whole house water filters to reduce toxic load on skin, hair,  & clothes (from laundering)

HOLISTIC PRACTICES

  • No pesticides or herbicides permitted on property

  • Landscaping team only uses electric rechargeable equipment (no gas) and hand picks weeds. Essential oils and vinegar are used to protect property for pests and excess weeds

  • Entire House is cleaned in all organic homemade products by Go Green cleaning service 

  • A form of energy healing is performed on the space between guests to maintain the energy hygiene of the Lůum.  This enables clarity of mind, body, and soul during your stay.

  • All linens washed in house with non-toxic products and we Sun-dry many of the linens for a deeper & energy efficient renewal of the bedding (when weather permitting)

  • Sparkling Water Machine provided so that you can limit purchase of cans of sparkling water and easy for fun mocktail creations.

  • Reverse osmosis filtered drinking water & insulated Refillable Water bottles provided for beach so no need to purchase bottles of water
